Poshmark is an online store running for the last 11 years.

They have approx 20 Million + users visiting their website every month and 10M + app downloads on Google Play with a 3.8★ rating out of 5.

But very similar to other big platforms like Amazon and eBay, Poshmark cannot guarantee buyers or sellers.

Out of 2,324 consumers, 1,798 consumers have given a 1-star rating.

My Personal Review on Poshmark

So far I listed two products and got 8 sales from Poshmark. I will share my honest experience and also let you know below if you should u buy or sell on Poshmark.

Out of 8 sales, my 6 sales were good for which I got my payout. But the other 2 sales were like a headache to me. One of the customers stopped responding once the product was ready to ship to their doorstep and another customer blamed that product was wrong.

Finally, after a month I got my payout as I record every product and which I submitted as proof.

I keep facing similar issues on Amazon and eBay as well. So, as per my personal experience, I give them a 3.5★  rating out of 5 and 4★ rating for Amazon and eBay.

I consider eBay and Amazon as better platforms to sell and buy for people who want to make limited sales. But if you want to maximize your sales then you can also go with Poshmark.

Key Point – Keep in mind that every online store like Amazon and eBay has negative reviews. Even eBay has around 1.2★ rating on Trustpilot.  

Is Poshmark still good for Selling in 2022?

Many sellers have this question that is Poshmark dead in 2022 or is it a good platform to sell?

As a selling platform, I consider eBay and Amazon as bigger platforms than Poshmark as they have more stuff, support, and traffic that drives more sales.

After knowing if Is Poshmark legit, you should know a bit about Poshmark cons and pros.

Poshmark CONS

• The first con of Poshmark is its 20% of high percentage, whereas eBay charges 12.55% plus 30 cents which generally comes out to 13 or 14%.

• Poshmark doesn’t offer first-class shipping. So let’s say someone buys a T-shirt for $10 then they need to pay the shipping charges of $8.99.

Poshmark PROS

• The first thing that I and many other people like about Poshmark is their app which is well-made and works very smoothly.

• Free pre-paid shipping level

• Good customer support and posh protect buyer protection.

• The Poshmark community is supportive

So should you sell on Poshmark in 2022 & coming 2023? My Opinion

I won’t recommend selling on Poshmark full-time and so you can spend some time here to experience first and evaluate their services or process.

Rest, do not break Posh policies to avoid scams from buyers.

How to Avoid Poshmark Scams as a Buyer?

To protect buyers, I am sharing a few tips for buyers to avoid Poshmark scams. Please keep the following points in your mind while shopping from Posh.

• Avoid buying from sellers who have just created their accounts and have no feedback.

• Ignore sellers who are selling products at very cheap prices.

• Avoid Products Images that seem blurred, copied, or unauthentic.

• Check the Product description properly.

• Do not deal with sellers outside of Poshmark.

• Record your unboxing.
